this blog entry carries a heavy nostalgia warning.
i think i've mentioned this in one of my previous blogs.
mentioned what?
that i've moved on. i've gone past the stepping stone which i shared with all of you. i'm moving forward in my life, instead of letting it imprison me in a little unhappy crab hole.
but what about the rest of you?
i talked to a few of you on the phone just now.
i'm sorry to say this, but the spark between us, though is flickering and holding on strong, isn't just what it used to be. a flame, when left out in the cold wind and angry rain will, no matter how strong it used to blaze, die out.
and such is what happened to the flame that was us.
yes, we shared much laughter, anger and tears.
we have lovely memories to get us by the days.
our crazy days as a class, as a group were fun.
but...we, or rather,
i can't cling on to this any longer.
in fact, none of us can, or should.
its not healthy. it'll kill us slowly.
nothing measures up because no two persons are the same.
i've got to move on.
correction, i have.
please, heed me this once when i say...
move on, don't look back, but remember what happened with a bitter-sweet smile of days foregone.
to all those concerned:
don't compare the class you have now to that of the 2004 1st intake 1T30. don't reject your classmates because they aren't like those in 1T30. don't judge them because of what you think a class should be like. no class will ever be like 1T30. its something that just came for a while, and went.
i understand now why God spilt us all apart.
i think its better for all of us.
to cling on to the past is a disease that will kill you, slowly but ever so surely.
PUAY! :)
