i love debating.
i won't go to the extent to say thats its my life, but i enjoy debating nonetheless.
its my passion for it that leads me to commit to it.
although my passion for God outshines it by far.
that is why i'm sad that there are politics playing out in the cjc debate team.
our seniors told us not to be like them, where conspiracy was rampant and rumours aplenty.
they told us, never to engage in politics at the CCA level.
how i wish it were so.
i am supposed to be the president.
yet, the TIC doesn't seem to regard me so.
the way he treats me just emitts vibes that scream 'if-i-had-my-way-you-wouldn't-be-president-at-all'
what's more, he gives all the stuff to the vp to do.
why? because she looks more responsible?
because she seems and IS 'guai-er' than me?
i don't even get a chance to prove anything to him.
all he asks is , 'where is she? where is she?'
if so, why didn't he just put her as president in the first place?and if i say that no one expected her to be the vp, i can say with much conviction that this train of thought echos throughout the rest of the debate team.
now this dear readers, is politics at play.
i don't my position to be given to me this way.
i am as capable as the next woman.
so this boils down to the question.
why am i president when the TIC doesn't want me to be?
because the other members voted for me.
that assures me, just a bit.
at least some people are willing to let me lead them somewhere.
PUAY! :)
