how now brown cow?
spent the entire afternoon cooped up in my room mugging chem.
lets ignore the fact that i woke up around 1pm and took a horrendously long lunch break. :X
i am done with my
introduction to organic chem. sort of.
but i jolly well have
no idea how to apply the stuff i
learnt read through about
racemic mixtures,
enantiomers,
nucleophiles and electrophiles and all the rubbish about
isomerism - structural and stereoisomerism - and the naming of the
organic compound - the prefix and what not blah blah blah - and all of the different
homolegous series of which i can only remember the secondary school stuff about
alkanes, alkenes and carboxylic acids, and bits and pieces of the jc stuff about
ketones and aldehyes and how these two are actually
functional group isomers.
and i'm clueless about the
hybridisation thing. what's the difference between
sp3, sp2 and sp? i have a vague idea, but do we even have to know this?
if you're a jc student who takes chem, and you can actually
understand and apply all of the stuff mentioned above...
i applaud you.
because i jolly well can't.
i'm off to drown in a sea of K
a/b/sp/c/w...blahblah and all of the enthalpy changes of whatever and yadda yadda.
*takes in a deep breath.
let's get this over and done with.

i am done with my
