i'm aching like crazy today.
and i didn't even run around that much during squash.
was dragging myself from place to place today,
much like how one would drag an unwilling dog to the vet.
weird analogy. i know.

_____and the rain falls.
saw a bunch of kids playing around while waiting for the mrt to come.
makes me miss my childhood days really,
as well as the bond i used to have with my brothers.

it was pretty silly, how we would stalk about the master bedroom,
trashing it in the process of our game of course,
using pillows and goodness knows what else to create a new reality for ourselves.
we fought with gruesome aliens, crossed over flesh-eating swamps, killed hideous monsters and all in air conditioned comfort.
talk about fighting in style. :)

now we're more strangers than siblings.
and i wondered, how did we become this way?
too absorbed with the little things to be done, too caught up with friends...
a blink of an eye, and here we are, childhood forgotten.
that is why youth is precious.
that is why we should treasure every moment.

and while i watched the kids playing, God whispered to me:
he told me that it wasn't too late to forge bonds with my brothers again.
he told me to pick up the broken pieces of my family.
he told me to replace all that frustration and anger with love.
he told me to live every moment, because the next day, the moments won't be there anymore.

and i heard.
will you?
