why must we always wait till disasters plague us before we understand how precious human life is?

why can't we learn to embrace life from the very moment we come into existance & forget all the petty things in life that make the milk go sour?

everyday this tsunami sage continues,
the numbers climb,
the faces blur,
and everytime i read it in the news,
in the newspapers,
i feel so very sad.
like this humanity is my child who died.

God, won't you just help this earth you created?
